Laser Mole Removal
Mole removal using a laser is a precise technique that involves use of a laser (typically Erbium and CO2) to remove the mole one thin layer at a time. The main advantage of lasers over other techniques is the precision with which the laser works and the fact that the laser seals the small blood vessels and controls bleeding. The lasers used at Naficy Rejuvenation Center are capable of removing layers of mole as thin as a fingerprint.
Laser mole removal allows the provider to blend the contour of the mole with the adjacent skin as well as possible. Recovery time for laser mole removal is often less than a week. The cost of laser mole removal for cosmetic reasons is $250 per mole.
At times, your provider may recommend performing a biopsy of the mole before laser mole removal. The biopsy is typically covered by your insurance.
