Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is treatment of certain skin growths using extreme cold temperature, typically with liquid nitrogen. The freeze-thaw cycle that follows the contact with liquid nitrogen will destroy the skin growth. The type of skin growths than are typically treated with liquid nitrogen Cryotherapy include:
- Seborrheic keratosis
- Actinic Keratoses
- Age spots (Senile lentigos)
- Superficial skin cancers
- Warts
